The Western European meat sector has developed at a rapid rate from a product-directed industry into a market-directed industry. Modern production companies direct their supplies expressly towards the demands of the market. JB Vlees, supplier of meat products for the catering industry, the manufacturing and processing industries and others, is one of the leaders in these developments. Our affiliated company WB Meat is specialised in import and export and sales of fresh and frozen meat.

JB Vlees is one of the most modern deboning plants in The Netherlands. The main activity of the company is deboning pork heads. The marketing undertaken by the customers requires a constantly more extensive supply however, preferably originating from a “preferred supplier”. For this reason JB Vlees has also additionally concentrated on the deboning of pork parts, such as shoulders and legs. A high and consistent quality product is always guaranteed.

A significant step in the development of JB Vlees was the installation of a modern mechanical pork head deboning line. The hygienic circumstances and protection from bacteriological hazards have been further perfected by the application of this modern technology. JB Vlees supplies the products fully in accordance with the requirements of the HACCP guidelines so that the products meet the present EU directives. The products are processed, packed and frozen under the strict supervision of the governmental veterinary service.

WB Meat, an affiliate of JB Vlees, is more particularly active on the international market.
